Dredge McFarland Firefighting System Recertification

The U.S. Army Corps of Engineers (USACE), Philadelphia District (NAP), intends to issue a Request for Quote (RFQ) for a firm fixed price (FFP) service contract for Firefighting System Recertification on the Dredge McFarland located in Philadelphia, PA. The contractor shall inspect, test, and certify the firefighting system onboard the Dredge McFarland, which includes fixed, semi-portable, and independent CO2 systems, as well as portable fire extinguishers and the Ansul fire suppression system in the galley. The contractor must be Kidde factory certified and USCG-approved for inspecting, testing, and certifying firefighting systems on inspected marine vessels. Key requirements include: • Inspecting, testing, and certifying the firefighting system onboard the Dredge McFarland • Being Kidde factory certified and USCG-approved for inspecting, testing, and certifying firefighting systems on inspected marine vessels • Submitting all required certificates as part of the bid submission • Servicing all Kidde components and providing new or factory-rebuilt Kidde components
