Description
The West Virginia Department of Environmental Protection (Office of Abandoned Mine Lands & Reclamation) is seeking qualified contractors to execute the Lanham (Workman) Portals Construction/Reclamation project in Putnam County. The work includes mobilization, construction layout, quality control, site preparation, temporary access road construction, stabilization fabric, silt fence installation, revegetation, riprap‑lined channels, piezometer abandonment, wet mine seal installation, mine‑seal conveyance pipe, mine‑seal stone, polyurethane foam mine seal, and soda‑ash briquette placement. The contract is a one‑calendar‑year term, with a maximum total value of $500,000 and the possibility of up to three one‑year renewals. Bids must be submitted electronically through the WV‑OASIS portal; a 5 % bid bond is required. Attendance at a mandatory pre‑bid meeting on Sept 9 2026 (10 am) is required, and questions must be submitted by Sept 16 2026. The award will be made after bid opening, with performance and labor/material payment bonds required for the successful vendor.
