Description
The Department of Veterans Affairs is seeking a contractor to provide patient lift service support for the Washington DC VA Medical Center. The contract will include all parts, materials, labor, software/licenses, and resources required to maintain and utilize the ceiling mounted patient lift equipment/system to their fullest capacity onsite. The scope of work includes preventative maintenance, fixes/repairs, loaners, and replacements to all items and accessories assigned to the site. The contractor will be responsible for providing training to clinical staff/users and conducting joint inspections with the on-site Point of Contact (POC) upon completion of installation. Key considerations for the contractor include compliance with VA policies and regulations, information and information system security/privacy, and IT contract security.
• The contract period is for a base year with four option years.
• The contractor must provide all necessary personnel, equipment, and materials to perform the work.
• The contractor must comply with all applicable laws, regulations, and VA policies.
• The contractor must provide a quality control program that includes a plan to detect, remedy, document, and deter recurrences of discrepant performance.
• The contractor must provide evidence of qualified key personnel, including responsibility for quality control, staff training, procedures, and scheduling expertise.
