Description
The New Buffalo Area Schools (NBAS) is seeking proposals from qualified contractors to resurface the MS/HS West parking lot. The project involves asphalt removal, site preparation, asphalt installation, and striping. The contractor must demonstrate experience with asphalt milling and resurfacing, capability to perform grading, compaction, and paving work, proper insurance and licensing for work in Michigan, and ability to meet school site safety requirements. The proposal must include company information, cost proposal, project schedule, materials and methods, and proof of liability insurance.
• The project location is 1112 E. Clay St., New Buffalo, MI 49117.
• The project objectives are to improve overall parking lot condition and longevity, provide a smooth and durable driving and parking surface, and strengthen high-traffic drive lanes for long-term performance.
• The scope of work includes asphalt removal, site preparation, asphalt installation, and striping.
• The contractor must meet MDOT Tier 2 specifications and use 64-22 asphalt binder for all materials.
