Law Enforcement Weapons Trade / Purchase

The City of Tacoma is soliciting bids to establish one or more contracts with qualified vendors to fulfill the City’s needs for rifles, suppressors, and accessories. The contract will be awarded to the lowest responsive and responsible bidder based on price, trade-in offer, product quality, and availability. The City is seeking to purchase a specific type of rifle, the Fabrique National (FN) 11.5” SRP G2 Premium HF MODEL RIFLE, and various accessories. The winning bidder will be responsible for arranging and funding the shipping of traded items. • The contract is for a one-time purchase. • The City encourages the use of environmentally preferable products and services. • The City is committed to encouraging firms certified through the Washington State Office of Minority and Women’s Business Enterprise to participate in City contracting opportunities. • The City reserves the right to waive irregularities deemed immaterial and to not award a contract or issue subsequent RFBs. • The City will consider factors such as compliance with specifications, proposal prices, time of completion/delivery, warranty terms, and bidder's responsibility in determining the award of the contract.
