Description
The National Weather Service is seeking bids for the improvement of roads and parking lots at the Sterling Field Support Center. The project involves resurfacing of the roads and parking lots, including milling, paving, base repairs, and striping. The contractor will be responsible for determining the quantities of materials needed during the site visit. The project has a period of performance from 08/28/2026 to 09/27/2026.
• The contractor must provide a signed copy of the amendment with their submission to acknowledge receipt and acceptance of the change.
• The contractor must include replacement of all wheel stops in their estimate.
• The contractor must replace 2 handicap signs and posts.
• The contractor must adhere to the thermoplastic and epoxy requirements outlined in the solicitation for permanent pavement markings.
• The contractor must correct the storm drain elevation by either raising the asphalt elevation or adjusting/replacing the storm drain itself.
