Description
The Macon Water Authority is seeking bids for the installation of the Allen Road 30” Sanitary Sewer Extension project. The project involves installing approximately 5090 LF of 30” SDR 26 PVC Sanitary Sewer, 1860 LF of 24” SDR 26 PVC Sanitary Sewer, and 3260 LF of 12” SDR 26 PVC by Open Trench and Jack and Bore. The pipe material will be furnished by the Macon Water Authority. The project will be awarded in one contract, and 51% of the work must be self-performed by the general contractor.
• The project requires bidders to attend a mandatory pre-bid meeting on May 12, 2026, at 10:00 AM.
• Bidders must submit their questions by May 18, 2026, at 10:00 AM.
• The contract documents include instructions to bidders, contract agreement, general conditions, drawings, specifications, and forms of bid bond, performance bond, and payment bond.
• The successful bidder will be required to furnish a performance bond and payment bond, each in the amount of 100% of the contract price.
