MTB #26-04 LAWRENCE ROAD WATER MAIN REPLACEMENT

The Township of Mahwah is seeking bids for the Lawrence Road Water Main Replacement project. The work consists of constructing approximately 1,310 feet of 8-inch ductile iron water main and appurtenances, including the transfer and reconnection of approximately 13 water service lines, pressure testing, disinfection, and other related incidental work. The project must be completed within 70 consecutive calendar days from the date of the written notice to proceed, with all final restoration work completed within 150 consecutive calendar days. • The bid documents and specifications are available for public inspection at the office of the Business Administrator. • Bidders must comply with the requirements of N.J.S.A. 10:5-31 et seq. and N.J.A.C. 17:27 regarding equal employment opportunity. • The successful bidder shall furnish and deliver to the Owner a performance and payment bond in the amount of 100 percent of the accepted bid amount. • The Township reserves the right to reject bids and waive minor informalities or non-material exceptions in the bids received.
