Description
The City of Cartersville is seeking sealed bids for the replacement of water mains along the Mechanicsville and Jones Mill Road corridor, divided into two sequential phases. The work includes installation of new 8‑inch and 6‑inch pressure‑class (PC 350) ductile iron pipe (DIP) water mains, associated 2‑inch service lines, street‑cut repairs, clearing/grubbing, and required pipe restraints. Bidders must purchase the bid documents for $150, acknowledge Addendum No. 1 (issued Oct 28 2026), and submit a sealed bid by the deadline. The contract will be awarded on a unit‑price basis, with a 5 % bid security, and Phase II cannot commence until Phase I is substantially complete.
