Description
The Department of Transportation and Public Facilities is soliciting bids for a contractor to provide as needed Type II, Class B, Hot Mix Asphalt for the Tok District. The total estimated quantity for the life of this contract is 6,900 tons. The contractor will need to provide the asphalt within a 50-mile radius of Northway, AK. The contract term is from the date of award through project completion, estimated to be September 30, 2026. The contract is a firm fixed price contract, and payment will be made within 30 days of receipt of a proper billing or delivery of goods and services.
• The contractor must provide a definite, firm, unqualified, and unconditional offer to meet all material terms of the ITB.
• The contractor must comply with all federal and state regulations, including the Buy America Act and the Americans with Disabilities Act.
• The contractor must provide proof of a valid Alaska business license.
• The contractor must certify that all work will be performed in the United States, unless a waiver is requested and approved.
• The contractor must comply with all requirements related to subcontractors, joint ventures, and third-party financing agreements.
