Kiwanis Park Trail and Constructed Wetlands

The City of Cheyenne is seeking bids from qualified contractors for the Kiwanis Park Trail and Constructed Wetlands Project. The project involves the construction of new wetlands, pedestrian gravel trails, bird blind pads, and foundations for future bird blinds, as well as refinements to the existing parking lot for ADA accessibility and removal and installation of new fencing. The project is expected to take approximately 210 days to complete, with a deadline for completion by December 31, 2026. The project includes a variety of work items, such as: • Mobilization • Demolition of existing fencing • Unclassified excavation • Striping and stockpiling of topsoil • Placement of topsoil from stockpile • Crushed base grading • Installation of HDPE storm pipe and flared ends • Concrete pavement • Protective bollards • Bird blind foundations • Riparian, wetland, and dryland seeding • Imported compost • Interpretive signage installation • Fencing replacement and installation of gates The City of Cheyenne is looking for a qualified contractor to complete this project, and bids will be evaluated based on the lowest responsive bid.
