Ready to Learn Programming

The Ready to Learn Programming grant is designed to promote school readiness and academic achievement through the development and dissemination of accessible instructional programming for preschool and elementary school children and their families. The grant will support the creation of nationally distributed educational media content that meets the highest standards of educational quality. The grant is open to public telecommunications entities that can demonstrate a capacity for the development and national distribution of educational and instructional television programming of high quality. • The grant will focus on developmentally appropriate curriculum frameworks that align with widely accepted learning standards. • The grant will support the development and dissemination of programming and digital content containing Ready to Learn programming. • The grant will produce educational outreach materials and programs that are designed to deepen and extend the effectiveness of the educational television and interactive. • The grant will provide funding to support the creation of educational media content that is accessible by a large majority of disadvantaged preschool and elementary school children.
