ON-CALL WATER ENGINEERING SERVICES

The City of Yonkers is seeking a qualified engineering firm to provide on-call water engineering services related to the operations and capital improvements of the City's Water Bureau. The selected firm will perform tasks such as utilizing the existing Yonkers Water System Hydraulic Model, preparing plans and specifications for water system improvement projects, and updating the Water Bureau's Chemical Bulk Storage Spill Prevention Report. The contract will be for a term of 24 months with an option for the City to extend for an additional 12 months. The City reserves the right to reject any and all proposals and to negotiate modifications to proposals. • The proposal must include a technical proposal, cost proposal, schedules, and vendor background questionnaire. • The City will evaluate proposals based on direct experience, technical proposal, staffing plan, total cost, and completeness of the proposal. • The selected firm must comply with all federal, state, and local laws and regulations. • The firm must also provide proof of insurance, including workers' compensation, commercial general liability, and professional liability insurance. • The City will not be responsible for any internal or external delivery delays that may cause a proposal to arrive beyond the stated deadline.
