2026 City of Decatur S. McDonough Street Infrastructure Improvements Phase II

The City of Decatur is soliciting sealed bids for the 2026 City of Decatur S. McDonough Street Infrastructure Improvements Phase II project. The project includes roadway, safety, and infrastructure improvements along S. McDonough Street. Bids must be submitted in a sealed envelope and delivered to the Assistant City Manager - Public Works. The successful bidder will be required to provide a five percent bid bond and meet Disadvantaged Business Enterprise participation goals. • The project includes improvements to S. McDonough Street between Garland Avenue and Lenore Street and the intersection of S. McDonough Street and E/W Davis Street. • Bidders must attend a mandatory pre-proposal conference on February 24, 2026, at 10:00 AM. • Questions must be submitted in writing to Julie Harlan by February 27, 2026, at 3:00 PM. • The bid package must include a bid bond, bid proposal form, references, list of proposed subbidders, and other required documents. • The City reserves the right to reject any and all bids and to waive formalities in bidding.
