Phase 2.2 - Wyoming & Montana Avenues, Improvements

The Town of Upton is seeking qualified contractors to execute Phase 2.2 of the Wyoming & Montana Avenues Improvements project. The scope includes extensive water‑distribution and sewer‑line work, installation of fire hydrants, and asphalt paving along the designated avenues. All bids must be submitted electronically through QuestCDN’s VirtuBid platform and will be opened publicly at Upton City Hall. Only pre‑qualified firms may bid, and a 5 % bid guarantee plus performance bonds equal to the contract price are required. • Install approximately 192 lf of 4‑in watermain, 2,758 lf of 6‑in watermain, 354 lf of 8‑in watermain, plus reconnect 40 existing services and add 2 new services. • Construct 2,674 lf of 8‑in sewer main, install 12 manholes, and place 2,520 sy of 4½‑in asphaltic concrete paving with aggregate surfacing. • Provide three fire hydrants, complete site‑clearing, and handle incidental items; submit required bid guarantees and bonds.
