Waconia City Highway 5 Phase 2 Construction Project

The City of Waconia is seeking contractors to execute Phase 2 of Highway 5 improvements, encompassing extensive earthwork, pavement, storm‑sewer, water‑main, and curb‑gutter installation. The scope includes: • 60,000 cu yd excavation and 46,000 cu yd common embankment, plus 20,000 cu yd select granular embankment. • 12,700 cu yd aggregate base (Class 5) and 13,000 ton bituminous paving. • Installation of 8,000 lin ft of storm‑sewer (15‑60 in) and 4,900 lin ft of PVC watermain (8‑10 in). • Construction of 21,000 lin ft concrete curb & gutter.
