RFP Construction Materials Testing for Public Improvements

The City of Port Huron is seeking proposals from qualified firms to provide professional construction materials testing services on an as-needed basis from January 1, 2026, to December 31, 2028. Services include density testing, concrete and asphalt testing, soil borings, and pavement corings. The selected firm will be required to provide unit prices for each item listed in the Proposal Pricing Form for each contract year. The firm will also be required to provide all labor, equipment, materials, and incidentals necessary to perform services to the City's satisfaction and professional standards. • The City reserves the right to accept or reject any or all proposals in whole or in part. • The City reserves the right to waive any irregularities in any proposal. • The City reserves the right to terminate a firm's services if the selected firm is not performing adequately to meet the City's needs. • The selected firm will be required to provide insurance coverage for the full term of the contract. • The selected firm will be required to comply with all relevant requirements of the City of Port Huron's equal opportunity employment or other regulations and ordinances.
