Description
The City of Valdosta is seeking bids for the purchase of one 2026 or newer 1/2 Ton Regular Cab 4x4 Pick-Up Truck. The truck should have a regular cab with 2 full-size doors, a gasoline 8-cylinder engine, and a heavy-duty six-speed automatic transmission. The vehicle should also have a standard wheelbase, power windows and locks, and a bright white color to match the existing fleet. The city reserves the right to purchase additional units at the same price until July 31, 2026.
• The truck should have a minimum of 5.0L engine size and a maximum of 5.7L.
• The vehicle should have a 12-volt electrical system, heavy-duty alternator, and maintenance-free battery.
• The truck should have a standard box approx. 6.5 feet and a gross vehicle weight of at least 6,500 lbs.
• The vehicle should have 17-inch minimum wheels with chrome or silver-painted wheels and all-season radial tires.
• The truck should have power brakes with four-wheel anti-lock and a heavy-duty towing package.
