ASPHALT PAVING MACHINE

The Wyoming Department of Transportation (WYDOT) is seeking proposals for the purchase of an Asphalt Paving Machine. The machine must meet certain specifications, including a minimum weight of 40,000 pounds, a minimum paving width of 9 foot 10 inches, and a maximum paving width of 19 feet 6 inches. The machine must also have a hopper capacity of approximately 230 cubic feet, a gateless feeder system, and an electronic auger/feeder control system. The successful bidder will be required to provide a five-year warranty, deliver the machine completely assembled and serviced, and provide four days of training for WYDOT personnel. • The machine must have a minimum production rate of 1350 tons per hour. • The machine must be equipped with an integrated 70 KW generator and a Power Supply Panel. • The machine must have a backup alarm. • The machine must have a vibrating screed with bolt-on replaceable screed plates. • The machine must have hydraulic power for height and electric power for slope. • The machine must have provisions for attaching sloper shoes. • The machine must have a screed power control to control height and crown taper.
