Description
This Maryland State Highway Administration (SHA) Invitation for Bids seeks a qualified contractor to provide on‑call milling and paving services for state roads within the Hereford Shop area of central Baltimore County. The contract is a fixed‑price, hourly‑rate agreement covering a variety of equipment (asphalt paver, roller, tac truck, milling machine, sweeper) and operators, with a minimum four‑hour billing per job. The State will supply traffic control, materials, and hauling; the contractor must include all fuel, maintenance, insurance, permits, and other incidentals in the hourly rate. The award will be made to the lowest responsive bidder and the contract runs until June 30 2028, with work performed on an as‑needed basis, day or night, as directed by the Resident Maintenance Engineer.
