PLANNING SERVICES FOR THE PLANNING BOARD

The Township of Toms River is seeking a qualified planner to provide planning services for the Planning Board. The selected planner will be responsible for reviewing applications, plans, and maps to determine compliance with the Township's ordinances and the Municipal Land Use Law. The planner will also prepare review letters and advise Board members on planning aspects of applications during public hearings. • The contract will be for a period of 12 consecutive months. • The planner must be licensed in New Jersey and have a minimum of 5 years of experience representing municipalities. • The planner must have experience in preparing planning and municipal Master Plans and enacting ordinances. • The planner must have experience working with municipalities with similar demographics to the Township of Toms River. • The contract will be awarded based on the vendor considered most advantageous to the Township.
