Aircraft Wheel Washer

The United States Air Force is seeking a large aircraft wheel washer capable of removing rubber/carbon deposits. The wheel washer must be able to perform automated cleaning of C-130J aircraft wheels for corrosion control. The required features include self-contained filtration system, oil skimmer, and some form of loading and unloading assist to limit the need for members to lift the wheels into the machine by hand. The contract will be awarded based on best value to the government, and funds are presently available for this effort. • The wheel washer must be able to wash C-130 aircraft wheels with an automatic cycle, requires little to no manual scrubbing between washes. • The wheel washer must be able to use prescribed solvents/cleaners in accordance with TO 1-1-691. • The contract includes on-site installation and training, which may be conducted during the test cycle. • The wheel washer must meet specific technical requirements, including a 3-stage 230V-60Hz / 400V-50/60Hz power system, a minimum programmable temperature of 140℉, and a 40 HP (30 kW) pump system.
