Description
The project involves upgrading the stormwater collection and conveyance system in a coastal urban area of North Myrtle Beach, South Carolina. The deepwater ocean outfall will be designed and constructed by the same contractor on one design-build contract. This project will be coordinated with a separately contracted project to upgrade the landward portion of the stormwater system. The key aspects of this project include:
• Upgrading the stormwater collection and conveyance system
• Designing and constructing a deepwater ocean outfall
• Coordinating with a separate project to upgrade the landward portion of the stormwater system
• Consolidating and rerouting drainage inlets and pipes along the street and other open areas
