Salt Storage Facility Improvements at Boone County Road & Bridge Facility on Tom Bass Road

The project consists of various repairs, maintenance items, and miscellaneous alterations to the existing Salt Storage Facility. The scope of work includes structural repairs, architectural repairs, and mechanical, electrical, and plumbing repairs. The facility requires repairs due to corrosion from long-term storage of corrosive materials. The project involves targeted structural steel column repairs, steel wall girt and channel repairs and replacements, and other work indicated on the drawings. • The project requires replacement of existing lighting fixtures and electrical modifications. • The project involves gutter and downspout replacement, metal roof panel and metal wall panel replacement, and repair and covering of existing steel bollards. • The project requires replacement of existing doors and hardware, and repairs to existing concrete walls. • The project involves reinstallation of existing metal trim and other work related to the same.
