Fairview Road and Chapel Hill Road Roundabout

The City of Columbia is seeking bids for the installation of a roundabout at the intersection of Fairview Road and Chapel Hill Road. The project includes excavation, grading, and paving, as well as the installation of traffic control signs and signals. The contractor will be required to comply with all applicable laws and regulations, including those related to occupational safety and health, and to provide a performance bond and labor and materials payment bond. The city reserves the right to reject any or all bids and to negotiate with the selected bidder. • The project requires the contractor to complete all work within 120 calendar days from the date of notice to proceed. • The contractor must provide a firm, fixed price for all line items in accordance with the provisions and requirements stated in the RFB. • The contractor must comply with all requirements of the Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA) and provide a ten-hour Occupational Safety and Health Administration (OSHA) construction safety program for their on-site employees. • The contractor must provide a performance bond and a labor and materials payment bond, each for 100% of the contract price. • The contractor must pay all workers on the project the prevailing wage as specified in the Missouri Division of Labor Standards Annual Wage Order No. 32.
