Description
The City of Cincinnati is seeking a contractor to replace the HVAC system and roof at Spinney Field. The contractor will be responsible for furnishing and installing all necessary materials and equipment, and for ensuring that the work is completed in accordance with the contract documents. The contract includes a guarantee period of one year from the date of Final Completion, during which time the contractor shall remove, replace, and/or repair any faulty or defective work, materials, or equipment at their own expense. The contractor shall also be responsible for handling replacement and installation of malfunctioning equipment and materials during the guarantee period.
• The contractor shall provide a detailed breakdown of labor rates, union benefits, and premium percentages for each superintendent, foreman, journeyman, and apprentice.
• The contractor shall ensure that all work is performed in compliance with Federal, State, and local laws, ordinances, and regulations.
• The contractor shall take all necessary precautions to protect the work, adjacent property, and the public, and shall be responsible for any damage or injury due to their act or neglect.
• The contractor shall maintain a local area headquarters where they can be readily reached by local telephone service and by the United States Postal Service.
• The contractor shall employ a competent superintendent and necessary assistants who shall be in attendance at the work site during the progress of the work.
