Description
The United States Air Force is seeking information from industry partners regarding the commerciality of the design, installation, and sustainment of Integrated Base Defense Security Systems (IBDSS). The Air Force is looking for feedback on the applicability of a commercial designation to the holistic scope of IBDSS, which includes the design, installation, and sustainment of physical security and force protection electronic security systems. The scope of work includes installation and sustainment services tailored to the Air Force Security Forces community, as well as the ability to qualify candidate Commercial off the Shelf (COTS) equipment for use in Security Forces Government Off The Shelf (GOTS) systems.
• The Air Force is seeking information on the experience of industry partners in delivering integrated defense systems to the Air Force and the private sector.
• The Air Force is also seeking information on the barriers or benefits associated with the assignment of a commercial designation to IBDSS.
• The Air Force requests that responders provide insight on their experience in designing, installing, and sustaining physical security IDS installations at OCONUS locations for the DoW, Department of State (DoS), or any other federal agency.
• The Air Force also requests information on the responders' experience in developing physical security systems design, construction, and other engineering documentation to codify IDS project design, installation, and supporting infrastructure.
