Description
The Lumpkin County Board of Commissioners is seeking bids for the asphalt leveling and resurfacing of various county roads. The project includes leveling and resurfacing with asphalt concrete, and thermoplastic stop bars on several roads. The contract will be awarded to the lowest responsive and responsible bidder whose bid meets the requirements and specifications. The contractor will be required to provide a 5% bid bond and a 100% performance and payment bond. The project must be completed within 180 calendar days from the date of the Notice to Proceed.
• The project includes work on several roads, including Lockhart Mine Road, Mechanicsville Road, Greenwood Parkway, and others.
• The contractor will be required to provide all necessary machinery, tools, and equipment for the project.
• The contractor will be responsible for the accuracy of the work performed and will be required to correct any errors or omissions without additional compensation.
• The contractor will be required to maintain certain types of insurance, including worker's compensation, general liability, and automobile liability insurance.
• The contractor will be required to comply with all applicable laws and regulations, including the Georgia Security and Immigration Compliance Act.
