Description
The ARPA‑H COSMOS Innovative Solutions Opening seeks technical performers to develop and validate high‑throughput organ‑on‑a‑chip (MPS) models for brain, cardiac, uterine, and kidney tissues, and to assess whether microgravity in Low‑Earth Orbit accelerates tissue aging. Successful proposals will generate organ‑on‑chip systems from healthy donors (age brackets 60 ± 2 yr or 65 ± 2 yr), conduct a terrestrial‑only study (minimum 50 MPS) and a twin terrestrial/LEO study (minimum 32 donors), and operate autonomously in space for approximately four weeks. The effort is funded through Other Transaction awards; no hardware or flight‑service provider work is within scope. Teams may submit multiple proposals, must designate a single PI (15‑20 % effort acceptable), and include a 100 % FTE project manager. Full proposals are due 7 Oct 2026 2 PM ET.
