Description
The United States Air Force is seeking to acquire three mobile welding machines and three trailers. The required system must be a mobile, engine-driven welding system with true DC constant current/constant voltage output, allowing for immediate transition between different welding processes. The system must also provide simultaneous, independent weld output and high-capacity generator power, and support air carbon arc gouging and high open-circuit voltage. The generator output must be 12,000 peak watts/10,000 watts continuous with 1-phase, 120/240VA, and 50hz capability, and the welder must be diesel-powered.
