Detention, Mitigation and Drainage (Phase 2) to Serve IDV - Brookshire Brown Tract Development

This solicitation seeks a contractor to construct the second phase of detention, mitigation, and drainage facilities for the Brookshire Brown Tract development in Waller County, Texas. The work includes extensive earthmoving, installation of clay liners, construction of storm‑sewer pipes and manholes, erosion control measures, and associated environmental compliance activities. The contract will be awarded on a competitive sealed‑bid basis after a mandatory pre‑bid conference. • Massive mass‑grading: excavation of over 800,000 cubic yards, placement and compaction, and clay‑liner installation for detention ponds. • Storm‑sewer infrastructure: installation of 48‑, 54‑, and 66‑inch reinforced concrete pipe, concrete manholes, and related drainage structures. • SWPPP and environmental controls: surface‑water management, filter‑fabric fencing, truck‑wash‑out areas, daily road sweeping, and other mitigation measures. • Project schedule of approximately 170 calendar days with a 15‑day contingency.
