The State of Vermont is seeking a contractor to provide hard binding of legislative journals. The contract period will be for two years with an option to renew for up to three additional twelve-month periods. The contractor will be responsible for picking up printed books from the Building and General Services Print Shop, binding them, and returning them to the print shop. The books will require specific trim height and width, cover material, and stamping. The contractor must also provide samples of their previous work and may be required to provide a presentation as part of the evaluation process.
• The contract requires the binding of approximately 200 books per year, with 50-100 books for the House and 50-100 books for the Senate.
• The contractor must provide a written warranty for each product, which must be based on commercial use and extend for a minimum term of one year from the date the product is available for use.
• The State reserves the right to terminate the contract at any time, with or without cause, and to make purchases outside of the awarded contract if it is deemed to be in the best interest of the State.
