Description
The City of Fayetteville is seeking a contractor to fully demolish and clear a blighted property at 806 Serro Drive, including asbestos‑containing material abatement, debris removal, grading, and seed‑and‑straw landscaping. The work must be completed within 30 calendar days after contract award, with all required permits and licenses secured by the contractor. The contract is awarded to the lowest‑responsive, responsible bidder and the City aims to allocate a portion of funds to small local businesses.
• Demolition of a manufactured home and storage building, removal of foundations, utilities, and all debris.
• Mandatory asbestos‑containing material (roof sealant) abatement by a NCDHHS‑accredited contractor.
• Site grading, topsoil fill, and seeding (½ lb grass seed & ½ bale wheat straw per 100 sq ft).
• Contractor must give ≥ 24 hour notice before commencing work and must not subcontract without City consent (aside from the asbestos portion).
• Sealed bids due by 2 p.m. EST on December 16 2025; bid opening will be public at City Hall.
