Description
The Comptroller of Maryland is seeking a contractor to provide help desk, application, and system support services for the Register of Wills (ROW). The contractor will be responsible for providing IT expertise services, including computer programming, network engineering, and help desk support. The contractor will also be required to assemble a staff to include six key personnel to fulfill specific roles. The contract will be for a period of five years, with one five-year renewal option.
• Key responsibilities include:
• Providing IT systems, hardware, and software support and maintenance for ROW IT existing systems
• Performing break fix of identified IT issues
• Providing support, management, and installation services for desktop and server operating systems
• Managing software development and support using formal specifications, data flow diagrams, and other accepted design techniques and tools
• Interpreting software requirements to develop design specifications, code, and integrate and test software components
• Developing requirements for an existing ROW system, including definition, design, security requirements, programming, and testing stages of development
