Description
The State of South Carolina’s Department of Transportation is seeking one‑to‑multiple term contracts to purchase, lease, and support Unmanned Aerial Systems (UAS) and related accessories from five pre‑approved manufacturers (Skydio, Freefly Systems, Inspired Flight Technologies, Wingtra, Quantum Systems). Vendors must be authorized resellers for all listed manufacturers and provide a single uniform percentage discount off the manufacturers’ published MSRP for each product/service category. Up to three contracts per manufacturer may be awarded, based on the highest discount offered. The contract term can be up to five years (initial 1‑year term with up to four one‑year renewals). No minimum purchase volume is guaranteed.
• Scope covers complete drone platforms, payloads/sensors, batteries & accessories, software/licensing, and training/maintenance services.
• Evaluation is purely discount‑driven; the “low‑bidder” is the vendor offering the greatest percentage off MSRP.
• Vendors must submit an electronic bid by 2:30 PM on 15 April 2026; award posting is scheduled for 29 April 2026.
• Required certifications include reseller authorization, insurance, security questionnaire, and debarment/ethics certifications.
