Sources Sought Notice for Microfluidics Control Station

The National Institute of Standards and Technology (NIST) is seeking information from potential sources for a microfluidics control station. The system should include a pressure-based flow control system with four pressure outputs and two pressure inputs, flow sensors, switching microvalves, reservoirs, and accessories. The system must be compatible with Matlab and Python programming software and have a software interface for real-time control and data recording. The system should also have a minimum 12-month warranty. • The system must have a pressure control module with specific output channel configurations and stability requirements. • The system must have flow sensors with low, medium, and high flow ranges and specific accuracy requirements. • The system must have switching microvalves with a multi-switch controller and specific valve configurations. • The system must have reservoirs and accessories, including fluid reservoirs, fittings, and connectors. • The system must have software that provides complete control of pressure to individual outlets, real-time plotting and visualization of pressures and flow rates, and an interface with Matlab and Python for real-time instrument readout and control.
