DRAFT for Advance Manufacturing Applied Research & Technology Development Center (AdvMARTDC)

The U.S. Army is seeking to establish an Advanced Manufacturing Applied Research & Technology Development Center (AdvMARTDC) to act as a trusted government agent and perform and coordinate research internally and from external sources. The center will focus on agile/flexible pilot line configurations and parameters using current and next-generation advanced manufacturing techniques. The center is expected to maintain a base level of staffing and augment with additional staff as needed on a task order basis. The government anticipates a base amount of Army funding each year to support the award of multi-year task orders. * Key aspects of the job include: * Establishing an AdvMARTDC to support Army and joint service stakeholders * Performing and coordinating research internally and from external sources * Maintaining a base level of staffing and augmenting with additional staff as needed * Transitioning technologies to the Manufacturing Innovation Institutes, Organic Industrial Base, and Defense Industrial Base * Working with and transitioning technologies to Army and joint service stakeholders
