Description
The Dickinson-Iron Intermediate School District (DIISD) is seeking bids for construction services for the renovation of the Technical Education Center. The project includes renovations to the existing 35,000 square foot building, with modifications to the layout, upgrades to classrooms, industrial arts labs, and administrative offices. The scope of work includes plumbing alterations, new flooring, lighting, and ceilings, as well as a full HVAC upgrade and the installation of a building-wide fire suppression system. The general contractor will be responsible for scheduling work and ensuring that the school can maintain its usual operations from September to June.
• The project is expected to take two summers to complete (2026 and 2027).
• A mandatory pre-bid meeting and site walkthrough will be held on February 23rd, 2026.
• Bids must be submitted by March 17th, 2026, at 2:00 pm CST.
• The Board of Education will award the project contract on March 18th, 2026, at 5:00 pm CST.
