The Texas A&M University System Office of Facilities Planning & Construction is seeking qualified Architect/Engineer firms to submit statements of qualifications for the Evans Library 6th‑floor renovation at Texas A&M University in College Station. The renovation will convert an outdated floor into a modern study environment featuring a grand reading room, individual study rooms with natural light, open seating, upgraded power and lighting infrastructure, and a temporary graduate lounge. The planning budget is $17 million, including $12.27 million earmarked for the construction contract; the remainder covers professional fees, furnishings, contingencies, and other expenses.
