Description
The Jefferson Parish Purchasing Department is seeking bids for the purchase of various valve assemblies for the Department of Drainage. The valves must meet specific requirements, including being new, assembled, tested, and ready for installation. The bid must include the total price for all bid items, and the contractor must provide a warranty for the valves and actuators. The contract will be for a period of at least 12 months, with the option for escalation after the initial 12 months.
• The valves must be suitable for use with ASME class 125/150 flanges.
• The valves must provide bi-directional bubble-tight shutoff at pressures to 250 psi.
• The discs must be offset to provide an uninterrupted 360-degree seating edge.
• The shafts must be one-piece 410 stainless steel.
• The elastomer seats must fully line and be permanently bonded to the valve body.
