Design/Build Maintenance and Repair Army Reserve (MRAR) of the Charleston Armed Forces Reserve Center, Building 17001 located in Charleston, WV

The U.S. Army Corps of Engineers (USACE) Louisville District intends to issue a Request for Proposal (RFP) for the Maintenance and Repair Army Reserve (MRAR) of a two-story Armed Forces Reserve Center (AFRC) in Charleston, West Virginia. The project involves the modernization of an existing AFRC, including a new elevator, additional access to the 2nd floor, new windows, new doors, and complete replacement of HVAC, electric, plumbing, and telecom systems. • The project will contain options for a loading ramp, loading ramp design fees, MKT pad, MKT pad design fees, CFCI OMAR funded items, and CFCI Bona Fide Need OMAR funded items. • The contract duration is 730 calendar days from Contract Notice to Proceed. • The magnitude of this construction project is anticipated to be between $25,000,000 and $50,000,000. • The RFP will be for one Firm-Fixed-Price (FFP) contract, and the North American Industrial Classification System Code (NAICS) for this effort is 236220 - Commercial and Institutional Building Construction.
