Description
The City of Thomasville is seeking bids for the 2025 Cassidy Park Improvements project. The project includes improvements to Cassidy Park, such as sidewalks, limestone walking loops, parking lot, a shelter, and a restroom pad construction. The project is being funded with federal aid from the American Rescue Plan Act Improving Neighborhood Outcomes in Disproportionally Impacted Communities Grant Program. Bidders must be licensed contractors in the State of Georgia, and sub-contractors must also be licensed in the State of Georgia. The bid must be accompanied by a Certified Check or Bid Bond in the amount of not less than 10% of the Bid.
• The project consists of roadway construction and utility work.
• A separate Payment and Performance Bond in the amount of 100% of the Contract will be required.
• The City of Thomasville reserves the right to reject any and all bids, to waive informalities, to re-advertise, and/or to award the contract in the best interest of the City.
• The deadline for receipt of questions is December 01, 2025, 5:00 P.M. local time.
• The deadline for receipt of request for plans and specifications is December 01, 2025, 3:00 P.M. local time.
