Description
The purpose of this solicitation is to procure asphalt for PennDOT Armstrong County. The Department is requesting bids for three types of asphalt materials: WM9.5MM, WMA 9.5MM, and WM19MM. The contractor shall deliver the materials to the designated locations and perform the required services between 8:00 am and 4:00 pm, Mondays through Thursdays. The contractor must have their plant and mix design listed in Bulletin 41 and provide a Warm Mix Asphalt as approved by the District Materials Engineer. The contract period is 6 months, and the contractor will be paid at their bid prices for actual work completed.
• The contractor must provide a minimum of 850 tons per day within the specified hours.
• The contractor must meet the requirements of the Standard Special Provisions (SSP) C4411-0010 for the use of reclaimed asphalt pavement (RAP) in the mix.
• The contractor must submit required documents, including the Contractor Information Form, BOP-2201 Worker Protection Form, and Iran Free Procurement Form.
• The contractor must attend a Pre-Pave meeting prior to the start of paving.
• The contractor must not issue news releases or public communications without written approval from PennDOT.
