Toilet Room/Art Room Renovation

The West Michigan Academy of Arts and Academics is seeking a general contractor for the renovation of toilet rooms and art rooms. The project includes design-build design and engineering for mechanical, plumbing, electrical, and fire alarm systems, as well as construction services. The contractor will be responsible for establishing all lines, levels, and elevations required for the work, acquiring and paying for permits, and providing as-built drawings. The project is expected to start on June 11, 2026, and must be substantially complete by August 21, 2026. Some key aspects of the project include: • Renovations and improvements to the Pre-Kindergarten toilet room, new classroom exit door with stoop, and classroom casework • Converting an interior office into a Pre-Kindergarten toilet and a unisex toilet room • Replacing Art room sinks, casework, and countertops • Providing design-build design and engineering for mechanical, plumbing, electrical, and fire alarm systems • Coordinating with the Owner's security vendor for door hardware • Providing as-built drawings and sealed by an engineer licensed in the State of Michigan • Maintaining project records and providing original copies to the Owner upon completion of the contract
