Caltrans is seeking a qualified small‑business or DVBE contractor to remove and replace a total of 74 windows across three Caltrans facilities in Bishop, Inyo County. The work includes full‑replacement of 19 windows in the Administration Building with new thermal‑break units, retrofit replacement of 55 windows in the Main Shop and Parts Department, removal and reinstall of awnings, replacement of exterior wood and aluminum trim, sealant application, interior finish repair, and disposal/recycling of all debris. The contractor must hold a valid CSLB Class B or C‑17 license, be DIR‑registered, and be a DGS‑certified small business or DVBE. All materials must meet specified performance criteria (Milgard A250 or equivalent), and a 10‑year warranty on windows plus a one‑year workmanship guarantee are required.
