Description

The National Institutes of Health (NIH) is seeking a contractor to perform a PRISM study of a compound (NCGC01219867) to determine its potential as a therapeutic agent. The study will involve testing the compound against approximately 900 barcoded cancer cell lines in a shared five-day assay. The contractor will be responsible for providing the necessary services, personnel, materials, equipment, and facilities to perform the study. The government will provide the analog to be screened. The contractor will deliver data detailing the viability of all 900 cell lines, metrics for the quality of the assay, and all raw data from NCATS test agents. Key considerations include: • The study will be performed using a standard, shared screen format with a 5-day assay and 900 cell lines. • The contractor must provide qualified personnel, materials, equipment, and facilities to perform the study. • The government will provide the analog to be screened and will retain all rights to the data and materials produced. • The contractor must keep all data and information confidential and only use it for the purpose of carrying out the contract.

$100,000 – $500,000

Based on the information provided, it is difficult to estimate the exact budget for this project. However, considering the scope of work and the fact that it is a firm-fixed-price contract, a reasonable estimate could be between $100,000 and $500,000. This estimate is based on the assumption that the project will require significant resources and expertise in the field of life sciences research. Factors that may influence the likely payment range include the complexity of the study, the number of personnel required, and the cost of materials and equipment.
