Description
The U.S. Embassy in Tegucigalpa, Honduras is seeking a contractor to provide and install a prefabricated mezzanine at one of the USG buildings in Tegucigalpa. The mezzanine should be a modular, bolt-together steel system with a load capacity of at least 500 kg/m². The contractor will be responsible for the design, supply, delivery, and installation of the mezzanine, including structural components, access features, flooring, safety railings, and mesh enclosure. The contractor must also ensure that the mezzanine is installed in accordance with U.S. standards for industrial mezzanine systems. Key features of the mezzanine include:
• System Type: Modular, bolt-together steel mezzanine supported by rack-style uprights and beams
• Platform Dimensions: approximately 6.00 meters wide, 7.06 meters deep, and 3.08 meters high
• Load Capacity: minimum 500 kg/m² uniformly distributed load (UDL)
• Structural Components: heavy-duty steel uprights and beams, painted or galvanized
• Access and Safety Features: stair access, perimeter guardrails, cyclone wire mesh enclosure, and personnel door
The contractor must also provide a minimum 12-month warranty for all materials, structure, and workmanship.
