HYDROPHONE,SONAR

The U.S. Navy is seeking a contractor to manufacture and deliver a hydrophone, sonar system. The system must meet the design, manufacture, and performance requirements specified in the provided drawings and documents. The contractor will be responsible for the performance of all inspection requirements, and the government reserves the right to perform any inspections deemed necessary. The contract will require the contractor to deliver all units to the David Taylor Research Center for first article tests and production lot testing. • The contractor must provide and maintain a quality system acceptable to the government, in accordance with ISO 9001. • The contractor must ensure that all items meet all requirements of the contract, and the inspection set forth in the specification shall become a part of the contractor's overall inspection system or quality program. • The contractor must deliver all production units to the David Taylor Research Center for production lot testing. • The contractor must ensure that the material supplied under this contract contains no metallic mercury and is free from mercury contamination.
