Wailua & Lihue WWTP Drying Bed Repairs

The County of Kauai is seeking qualified contractors to perform comprehensive repairs and upgrades to the drying beds at the Wailua and Lihue Wastewater Treatment Plants (WWTP). The scope includes mobilization, installation and removal of temporary BMPs, trench excavation and backfill, concrete wall repairs, valve and pipe replacement, demolition and reconstruction of concrete walls, and installation of redwood stop gates. All work must comply with local, state, and federal regulations, include erosion and sediment control measures, and be performed by a contractor holding a Hawaii State Contractor’s License Type “A”. The bid must be submitted electronically via the Public Purchase System by the deadline, with a required bid bond.
