Description
The North Texas Tollway Authority is seeking bids for the DNT Segment 1 Steel Bearing Repairs project. The project involves routine bridge maintenance repairs, including rocker bearing resetting and replacement, cleaning and painting of steel beam ends, diaphragms and rocker bearings, and concrete spall repairs at beam ends. The project is estimated to cost between $1,000,000 and $5,000,000. The contract term is 6 months, and the project must be completed within 180 calendar days from the date of the Notice to Proceed.
• The project requires the contractor to provide all necessary labor, machinery, tools, supplies, equipment, transportation, and other facilities, apparatuses, and means of construction.
• The contractor must comply with NTTA's Disadvantaged, Minority, Women-Owned and Small Business Enterprises Policy.
• The contractor must provide a bid bond in the amount of $72,000.
• The contractor must provide a payment bond and a performance bond for the full amount of the contract.
• The contractor must provide a warranty bond in the amount of 25% of the contract value for a period of 2 years.
